About Therapy
My approach is holistic and deeply personal.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person is different, so the work we do together should reflect that. I bring authenticity, warmth, humor, and motivation into our sessions, while also grounding the process in science-backed strategies that support real change. In some sessions, we’ll laugh; in some, we may cry; and often, we’ll uncover strengths you didn’t even realize you had.
I focus on values, strengths, and empowerment, because lasting growth comes from building on what already makes you unique.
Over time, my clients often describe feeling lighter, more confident, and more connected to themselves. Relationships improve, work and life feel more balanced, and a deeper sense of joy and purpose begins to emerge. Most importantly, my clients gain a greater sense of autonomy – feeling more grounded, capable, and in control of their lives. Change is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
As a military wife and mother, I understand firsthand the realities of transition, uncertainty, and adaptation. Those experiences shape the compassion and practicality I bring to the individuals, families, and groups I work with.
For me, this work is about more than healing. It’s about helping people discover their resilience, move through difficult experiences, and create lives that feel balanced, connected, and true to who they are.
About Heather Wilson, LCSW, QS

My goal is to help others embrace their strengths, step into their full potential, and create a life they love.
I’ve always been drawn to the ways people adapt, recover, and grow through life’s challenges. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping adolescents, individuals, and families in a variety of settings – including classrooms, intensive outpatient programs, in-home family sessions, and hospitals.
In every space, I’ve witnessed firsthand how people learn to trust themselves, build resilience, and create lives that feel meaningful, even as they navigate life’s complexities.
Working with healthcare professionals has been especially meaningful. These dedicated individuals give so much to others, sometimes carrying the weight of burnout, trauma, and compassion fatigue. I’m committed to helping them reconnect with their values, recognize their strengths, and step fully into their potential so they can live balanced, fulfilling lives aligned with what matters most.
I’ve also had the privilege of walking alongside adolescents, young adults, new parents, empty nesters, and military members and their families as they navigate life’s twists and turns. I love seeing people discover their strengths, uncover who they truly are, and step into their potential. Whether it’s adjusting to a new chapter, facing unexpected changes, or figuring out what comes next, I get to witness the small and big moments of growth that help them build lives that feel authentic, balanced, and full of meaning.
Through all of my work, my mission is to help people embrace their strengths, realize their potential, and create lives they love – because everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.
When not working as a therapist…
…you’ll probably find me chasing adventure outdoors – walking along the beach, biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, or discovering new places to explore. I love destination half marathons and lifting heavy weights. Off the trails, I’m all about family time, roller coasters, reading, and binge-watching TV shows. Basically, I like anything that keeps life fun, active, and a little wild!
